Petition to Kasese MPs to promote clean energy 29-03-2019

Between February 27 and March 1, 2019, members of Kasese Women and Youth Environment Group from Kasese participated in an exchange learning visit to the oil region in Hoima. Others who participated include civil society organisations and youth in addition to women leaders from Kasese.

Kasese Women and Youth Environment Group is a community-based group from Kasese that sensitises communities in Kasese to enable environmental conservation. We started sensitizing communities in 2013 to enable environmental protection. Our activities followed Kasese alarming environmental degradation being experienced in Kasese.
