What is CECIC?
The Centre for Citizens Conserving Environment & Management (CECIC) is a Ugandan non-governmental organisation founded in 2010. We are dedicated to the sustainable management of natural resources in Uganda and the Great Lakes Region — generating evidence, informing policy and strengthening local capacity to protect the land, forests and water systems communities depend on.
Where is CECIC based and where do you work?
Our office is at Plot 2506, Mikari House, Central Division, Kasese, in Uganda's Rwenzori region. Our work is centred on Kasese and the Rwenzori region, and our programmes have reached communities in 30 districts.
