CECIC Demands Immediate Release of Climate Scientist Klaus Thymann Arrested in Uganda
The Centre for Citizens Conserving Environment & Management (CECIC) strongly condemns the arbitrary arrest and detention of renowned Danish journalist and climate scientist Klaus Thymann by Ugandan authorities.Detained on Monday while applying for a work permit, Thymann globally recognised for his award-winning documentation of the melting glaciers of the Rwenzori Mountains is being held without charges or evidence.
